The Last Blossom
An elderly inmate serving a life sentence awaits a lonely death in solitary—until a voice calls out to him.
It belongs to a balsam flower, Housenka, that speaks like a human. Through their 'conversation', the old man reflects on the life he's led.★ 8.0
